New Year, New Planner

new calenders

I'm kind of a paper nerd, I love the fresh blank pages of a crisp new planner or calender.  I really enjoy picking out our family wall calender and new planner for myself.  As you can see, I tend to stick to the same brand of planner.  This particular planner comes in lots of different colors and has both a monthly calender format as well as the weekly format.  I've got to have both!

Do you carry a planner?  I always carried one when I was in college to keep track of my class assignments and then transitioned to just using the calender on my phone when I no longer had school things to worry about.

I still use the calender in my phone, but a couple years ago I started carrying and using a real planner again.  I love the whole pen to paper thing... I use my phone to help set reminders and use the paper planner to be more detailed...and then the wall calender I write things that Matt needs to know as well.  Overkill?  Ah well...  It's a weird system that works for me.

  2. I like calendars and planners, I got one as gift from my mom and I use it at work. And then I found one wall calendar (finnish hand made and soo cute!) that I had to buy.

  3. Not a weird system at all and it will serve you well once you have to keep up with baby. ;.) I use it all too: a family calendar on the fridge, free Homeland calendar for dinner menus; my Mom's weekly planner (http://www.flickr.com/photos/nolitamorgan/8366713000/in/photostream/) and my BlackBerry. I picked up a cool Central Park wall calendar for work (love to see the seasonal park photos above my busy schedule) and the govt issue wall calendars are not very pretty.
